You may be wondering why I am writing a blog about waxing in January, when we're covered up from head to toe to keep warm in the cold winter weather... Yes, I know in Britain, the majority of our skin wont make an appearance until at least April/May but this makes it the perfect time to start waxing regularly!
Here's why: Our hair grows in three stages - our hair is either growing, laying dormant, or is falling out naturally. Depending on the length of your hairs, whether they are exposed,
near the surface of the skin, or far beneath the surface, it may take several treatments to obtain the results you want. Therefore, waxing in the winter means you give yourself the best chance to take care of those stubborn hairs before summer arrives.
If that's not enough to convince you, here's a few more reasons why regular waxing will benefit you: Waxing exfoliates dead skin and increases blood flow which, in turn, leaves your skin looking and feeling healthier; Waxing reduces the risk of ingrown hairs compared to shaving; Waxing makes you feel good which boosts your self-confidence and finally, the more often you wax, the less painful it will become and the less often you will have to have waxing treatments.
So now that we have covered the benefits of waxing let's discuss why I only use Waxperts Wax on my clients.
Firstly, it's super gentle and kind to sensitive skin, with the majority of clients experiencing very little redness post-treatment.
It's less painful than all the other brands that I have tried, especially the hot wax which is specifically for delicate areas including the face, underarms and bikini line.
I was trained using Waxperts which has given me confidence that I can deliver high quality waxing treatments to my clients.
Waxperts wax created in Ireland by therapists that listened to what the client and therapists needed and wanted from their waxing treatment.
Lastly and also coincidentally, Waxperts original wax is purple which matches my uniform and towels haha! The branding is pretty cool too.
If you're new to waxing you may feel nervous or embarrassed about it and avoid booking that initial appointment. Honestly, there is nothing to worry about. As a Waxpert, I have seen and treated many different ladies (and men) and you are in safe hands. I do my very best to make you feel at ease and comfortable during your treatment, let's face it, you're in your own home so you should instantly feel more relaxed than being at a salon.

If you've made it this far, that's awesome, thank you for reading! Hopefully, I've managed to give you a better understanding of why waxing is important all year round and given you an insight into the brand I use. If you have any questions at all (no question is a silly question!) please let me know, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
